So often defenders of the present course of ecumenism cite St. Mark of Ephesus BEFORE the council or DURING the council with the Latins, always omitting what St. Mark had to say AFTER the council, especially as he approached his departure from this world.
It is good for us to have his words in mind as we approach this Council, for we may indeed be hearing similar words from our own contemporary successors of St. Mark after the council...
